Dear BizBasket viewers,
Slowly but surely Speak Asia is reaching towards business restart. Following are few of our observations which proves this point :
1. As you all would be aware of the fact that the 1st FIR against SAOL by Mr. Navneet Khosla has been taken back. This is a very positive step towards business restart because it was a criminal case. For this the credit goes to entire Speak Asia family who stood up under the umbrella of AISPA, which has formidable leaders like Mr. Malvin Crasto and Mr. Ashok Bahirwani.
2. As we all know that the SAOL management has given the last date for the exercise of the Exit Option as 31st March, 2012, after which a report will be submitted to the honorable Supreme Court regarding the list of people who want to exit. The apex court will then decide on the payment process for people who have pressed exit option.
3. Now we can see on the website of the honorable Supreme Court (http://courtnic.nic.in/supremecourt/casestatus_new/caseno_new_alt.asp ) that the next date for the listing of SAOL case Writ Petition(Civil) 383/2011 is on 2nd April, 2012. All fingers are crossed for the judgement which will be passed on this date.
One by one all hurdles are going off the road and the environment for business restart is setting in. Soon we'll see the final smile on the faces of our family members who will be busy in their respective teams doing Speak Asia business.
